Educating Future Champions: Mark Busfield's Role at the National Center for Motorsport Engineering

It's me, Mark Stone, the host of the Back Seat Driver Podcast. I'm sitting in the National Center for Motorsport Engineering at Bolton University in this episode with Director Mark Busfield.

Mark has had a spectacular career, with over 30 years of experience in professional, manufacturer-supported motorsport across various disciplines. He has been a consultant team manager, managing director of classic and modern car specialists, project manager, team director, and even mechanic.

His work has shaped his experience in the world endurance championship, the World Rally Championship, and the BTCC Championship. He is still actively involved in personal projects, competing in grassroots motorsport, and uses his experience to help students at the NCME.
